The Most Spectacular Waterfall in Costa Rica

This is a SPECIAL PLACE!! Nauyaca is the most spectacular waterfall in all of Costa Rica. Mother Nature’s Water Park. This tour includes transportation, entrance onto the property, a guided hike through the jungle, lunch, and time at Nauyaca.

The total drive time is about 40 minutes. Water and some snacks are included but you will be stopping at the fruit market and can purchase extra drinks and snacks if you would like. The hike to the waterfall is about 45 minutes, but the destination makes it all worthwhile. The hike and waterfall are full of wildlife, plants and animals.

Once at NAUYACA, a 45 minute HIKE INTO THE MOUNTAIN begins towards the waterfalls. All ages can make the hike, but please keep in mind that most of the hike is up hill and some parts are a little more difficult than others. Once you are at the waterfall, you go to the bottom waterfall which is great for swimming and climbing.  Your guide will show and safely guide you up the waterfall where you have the opportunity to jump off the waterfall from 10 feet, 15 feet, 25 and 37 feet.  You spend about 1.5 hours here swimming and enjoying the scenery then head UP TO waterfall number 2 that is more about the PICTURES AND SCENERY. There is a small pool of water under 175 foot waterfall that the guide will safely show you how to enter and enjoy the swimming hole. After approximately 40 minutes, you begin the HIKE BACK DOWN THE MOUNTAIN.  THE HIKE GOING BACK IS MUCH EASIER THAN GOING IN BECAUSE IS IT ABOUT 80% DOWNHILL. Please keep in mind the trails are best suited for people who enjoy and are comfortable hiking.
