The best

We went here for my girlfriends 30'th birthday.

Hands down, the best concierge service I have ever experienced. Frank was unbelievably helpful and available for anything we needed. 24/7. That is crazy and unheard of, and I am a life long New Yorker who is rarely impressed with service. If you need ANYTHING, ask Frank.

These people have it down 100%.

The Villa itself is located inside a resort. This means, it is like staying in a luxury hotel, within a luxury hotel. Emphasis on luxury. There is no roughing it here by any means. All of the photos are accurate, and frankly, pictures do NOT do the Villa justice. You can't capture how awesome this place is, in any number of photos. It's absolutely private and the out-door showers are to die for. The first morning, we woke up to monkeys on the patio, and wild macaws flying in pairs in plain view of our bedroom. A second group of monkeys showed up later that morning and they were a bunch of jerks, but whatever. It's their back yard, not ours. No monkeys after the first day since we didn't feed them, they lost interest in us.

Manuel Antonio is the most tourist filled area in Costa Rica so be prepared to have every living soul on the street try and offer you some sort of paid service or something to buy. When in doubt, just ask Frank.

Finally, we had a private chef come and make all of us a birthday brunch for my girlfriends 30th Birthday. Tito the chef RULES!!!

Pure Vida!

Not to be missed

Casa 405 at Tulemar is an experience not to be missed! Frank the host, was extremely accommodating and was available for any and all needs, at any time of day. He arranged multiple excursions for us on a daily basis, and was able to find the perfect activities we were looking for-- none of them disappointed. The unit itself is amazing, and the quality of the unit cannot be conveyed through pictures. This is a million dollar plus villa and it feels that way in every aspect. It has all the bells and whistles you could hope for, and daily room cleaning service ensured an immaculate home every day when you arrive home from exploring the area. Every morning you are greeted by a family of endangered spider monkeys on your balcony which makes for an awesome experience. We also saw sloths and macaws within 10-15 feet of our balcony the first night and morning after we arrived. All in all, Casa 405 is a little piece of paradise and I can't wait to return. My wife and I made a point to say that we will likely return just to relax in the villa, as on this trip we were very active during the day taking in the region since it was our first trip to Costa Rica. Additionally, the Tulermar/Buena Vista Villa property is set on 35 acres of lush jungle so you get the best of both worlds with wildlife outside your door, and are only a golf cart trip away from your own private beach. It's also worth mentioning that you can safely and easily walk to all the neighboring restaurants/bars which is very convenient. In all our exploring of the area, we decided that this property was the best decision we could have made. Bottomline, stop searching all the listing, do yourself a favor and book this property immediately, you will be glad you did.

Beautiful and luxurious

This is an absolutely beautiful and luxurious home inside of the Tulemar Resort. There is plenty of outdoor living space (including two open-air showers, a huge balcony on each floor, and an outdoor jacuzzi) with amazing views of wildlife and the ocean. Frank, the local concierge in Costa Rica, was warm and welcoming upon our arrival and offered to help us with anything we needed at any time during our visit. The villa is located inside of a gated and secured resort-style community and you will have access to everything from the multiple pools, private beach, restaurant, hiking trails, and onsite convenience store. You will also find monkeys, iguanas, exotic birds, sloths, and other animals all over the property. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Manuel Antonio!

Book this one immediately!

One of the best villas I have ever stayed in! Monkeys come right up to the balcony, you have a view of the sunset over the ocean, there is an outdoor hot tub, and a private beach. The inside is modern with tons of amenities, can't really ask for more. If you are considering booking, I would stop looking at other places and book this one immediately!
