Welcome to Casa Pakal, a new private luxury villa on Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast, set in the heart of Manuel Antonio, the country's most popular destination.
The villa takes its name from Pakal "the Great", who governed the Mayan lordship of B'aakal for 68 years from what is now Palenque, in Chiapas, Mexico, and devoted his reign to building temples and studying astronomy. The name also matches those of the two owners.
The home is a few miles from Manuel Antonio National Park and its beaches, and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, groceries, an ATM and the bus stop. It is spread over three floors. The lobby is decorated with paintings by a local artist and filled with local plants, and the furniture was handmade by a local carpenter. There is parking for up to 5 vehicles.
The second floor has four bedrooms: three with two twin beds each (which can be joined into a king) and one with a queen bed. Each has its own bathroom, smart TV, safe, terrace, air conditioning, ceiling fan and high-speed WiFi.
The top floor holds the master bedroom, with a king bed and a terrace with jungle and ocean views, along with the infinity pool and a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and a large rustic table made from local wood.
Howler and capuchin monkeys, toucans and scarlet macaws are regular visitors. Your stay includes a personal concierge and dedicated housekeeping, and a private chef is available on request.

The guest booking must be 18 or older.
- No Outside Guests. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No unapproved visitors.
- No Parties or Events. Parties, events, or gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- No Illicit Drugs. The use or possession of illegal substances is not allowed on the premises.
- No Loud Music. Please respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Keep music and noise at a respectful level at all times.
- No Smoking Indoors. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
- No Pets. Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Respect the Property. Please treat the home as you would your own. Report any damages immediately.
- Follow Pool Safety Guidelines. No glass near the pool, no diving, and children must be supervised at all times.
- Check-Out On Time. Check-out is by 10 AM.
