Villa Caimito | 7BR Jungle Home

Mefi helped us throughout from planning excursions to transportation to meals. Chef Reimy and his team prepared wonderful meals for our group of 18. Susan kept the place clean and even did our laundry. We had a great time. Highly recommend this spot.

I hosted a yoga retreat at this location. There were equally plenty of private as well as communal spaces at this location. The views were amazing. Our private chef Jeinor prepared and served amazing meals. Our rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were cleaned daily. Our concierge Mefi was great at answering our questions and helping to arrange taxis, shuttles and other excursions.

Mefi was an exceptional host. Always responsive with our group of 17 people. Taxis were on call, no private driver needed. Excursions through Mefi were same price as other published tours, and gave booking confidence. The buggy waterfall tour was our favorite. We also did offshore fishing, inshore fishing, spa day and the sunset catamaran.

As other reviews state the home is no a private road. Taxis are very familiar with it and we never had anyone decline to pick us up. Big rain storms knocked down trees and electricity (Mother Nature!) but all was restored quickly and efficiently like a big city. Each bed room stayed cool and were kept tidy by daily maid service.

I have never planned a large trip with a concierge so this was new for me. The host and home made it easy and accommodating.

This property is an amazing location for a large group with 9 bedrooms. Highly recommend and we will return.

Wonderful place. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location is a bit odd at first because you go down a long dirt hill to get there. Ubers won’t go down the road most times. But it’s not that hard of a walk to the top of the road. It was 100% worth the money.

Pablo was a responsive host and fixed any problems we had in a timely manner. I recommend getting a private chef. Jenior was fantastic. Lots of wild life, secluded but very close to restaurants & Manuel Antonio Park.

This house, the host & the experience of enjoying Costa Rica while being taken care of by wonderful caring people exceeded our expectations in every way! The concierge, Mefi was so very helpful with coordinating our excursions, helping organize chef to cook meals, getting spa services organized on the upstairs patio & organizing taxis when we needed them. My favorite part of the trip was watching the monkeys and the scarlet macaws from the porch! We were a family of 11 traveling from the US for a week together and the house was so perfect. Can't recommend enough! Side tip - we downloaded this Merlin Bird ID app on our phone & you could record the bird sounds & it would identify what birds were around that you were hearing which made it easier to spot & identify. Very cool!

Everything about this place was amazing! Anyone traveling with a large group wanting a house that has separate rooms with your own place and large enough to not be so close, book this house! Monkeys every morning and afternoon, and even got to see a sloth the last morning. A short hike to the beach and so much around to go do! We have been to Costa Rica many times, and this has been the best place so far we have been to!

The Villa was amazing! There was plenty of space for four families with kids; ideal for time together in many spaces big enough to gather and also plenty of room for quiet time.
The location was ideal; secluded enough to enjoy the Forrest including many monkey visitors, birds and our own personal sloth! While also being close enough to the many excursions and amazing local food.
Mefi the concierge was very responsive, provided great recommendations and booked outings and private chefs!
It was a vacation the families will remember for a lifetime; highly recommend.

We loved staying at Villa Caimito!! Gorgeous home, plenty of room, awesome upper deck with wildlife viewing, amazing to have access to the private chef and housekeeping!! Top notch service! Great pool area and other decks as well. Good location to town and a beach if you are up for a good little hike! Pura Vida!

We had a great time at Villa Caimito! Mefi made it super easy to set up and enjoy the chef prepared meals, arranging rides , catamaran, spa services and much more. He was quick to respond - day or night. So friendly and made our trip complete! All of the service providers were fabulous.
The villa had gorgeous views, ample amenities and accommodated all of the needs of our group of 12. Relaxing by the pool or sipping a beverage while looking for wildlife on the upper deck were our favorite things to do at the villa. Definitely recommend for large groups. We will return the next time we visit!

The air bnb is beautiful. A chef, concierge and cleaning services were provided and was wonderful. Highly recommend for a big group! Lots of wildlife around the area and close to the beach. The only thing to note is the road to the air bnb is unpaved and might be inaccessible for some cars so some Ubers would not drive down the road.

Our group of 11 had an incredible time at Villa Caimito in Manuel Antonio. Mefi, the concierge, helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, private chefs for 3 dinners and 2 breakfasts, housekeeping, a few massages on the rooftop, taxis to/from the beach and town, a tour at the national park and a catamaran trip. The house is beautiful and the views and sounds are so peaceful. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you so much!

Unbelievable experience, had by all 15 guests. Everyone was so impressed with the space, inside and out. Mefi responded every time we needed anything, from scheduling personal chef dinners to ordering continuous transportation throughout the day. Wonderful views, wonderful staff, 10/10 experience. Would absolutely book this home again! Great space for large groups and/or couples trips. Not one complaint!

Pablo and his team were amazing!!! Mefi is the absolute best concierge that I have ever worked with. For months, Mefi helped with planning excursions, traveling for our group and gave great recommendations! The rainforest view was beautiful! There was plenty of room/space for our party with much to spare! The house has all the necessities needed and plenty for replenishing! The maid clean everyday and gave fresh linen as well! We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property and team again!!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING!!!

The house itself was gorgeous, had plentiful bedrooms for our large group, and the amenities were fantastic. We highly recommend using their recommended chef service as it made our trip more relaxing. The cleaning service also came daily, not only cleaning the house but providing laundry services.

The location was a little tough to find, and I wish we got a bit clearer instructions on finding it, but it also highlights how private a location it is! The roof deck was a perfect spot for rain or shine, and I definitely recommend bringing a set of binoculars for spotting the many scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys, and even sloths!

Amazing stay! We were a group of 11 classmates meeting up for a week of fun in Manuel Antonio. We had 2 extra bedrooms - plenty of space here! Definitely rent a 4x4 car to access the house. We had an authentic cuisine the first night at the house with a chef of Mefi’s choice. This was a great idea especially on arrival night- they cooked an amazing meal & cleaned it all up. The excursions available through the house are amazing & pick you up right at the villa. We did the Buggy Tour (my favorite), Chocolate & Spice Tour, Catamaran, National Park, and surf lessons with Mike. Highly recommend every single one. Definitely bring plenty of cash to this area. While everywhere takes card we found it extremely easier to just lay down cash anywhere we ate out. Emilio’s, Papillon, and Samuri (Thai) were our favorite places to eat. This villa is the perfect experience with a host willing to get it all for you. We saw sloths, monkeys, lizards, etc from the top floor. Enjoy!

This is an amazing house for wildlife. After being there 3 days we almost felt we didn't need to go into the National Park. 3 kinds of monkeys, sloths, macaws and tucans greeted us every day. It's not a great road getting to the house but with 4 wheel drive you will be fine. There is parking for multiple cars. The house has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, the kitchen has anything you need to make meals. The top level is just perfect. We had massages out there one afternoon. Luis will literally check in on you each day. If you need anything, including help if your car is stuck, he will be there. And hire chef Reymi. He is kind, easy going, and makes fantastic meals. Maid service with laundry puts this place over the top. We stayed with 18 family members aged 88-14. It was just perfect. There are plently of spaces to be alone even with that many. I already miss those monkeys. Enjoy!

I rented this villa for my 50th birthday celebration. The view from the rooftop was beautiful as well as the surroundings (the rooftop was our favorite place to lounge around). There was 9 of us total and everyone had a room and plenty of space to lounge around. Each room was comfortable and well decorated. I love that each room had AC and its own bathroom. It was nice to jump in the pool during the hot afternoons. Mefi the concierge was beyond helpful and was extremely responsive. My friends were all very impressed by the villa and I can’t recommend it enough!

We stayed at the villa for 3 nights as a family with 14 people and it was amazing. Plenty of space and also opportunities to get out of the way. Great see view in the middle of nature. We saw monkeys, sloths, parrots and lizards from the terrace.
You definitely need a car with 4x4. You can't get around on foot.

This villa gave my friends and family an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
Our group really enjoyed all of the wildlife we could see from the many balconies. We spotted 3 species of monkeys, we were dazzled by a pair of toucans that put on a modeling show for us in a tree only 15 feet from the balcony, we heard dozens of bird calls a day, managing to spot many with their brilliant colors and we spotted more lizards and cool bugs than we ever could have imagined.

Months before checkin the complimentary concierge team reached out to us to begin coordination of everything we would need to have an amazing experience. Working with him took all of our troubles away. He coordinated shuttles, groceries, a chef to cook for us on the busiest days, and many amazing excursions and activities.

It was everything we ever could have dreamed of and more!

Amazing place for a group. 9 bedrooms all with private bath and 3 public half baths. The road to the house was difficult to walk to town. Car would be helpful addition. But loved the place and would stay again. Highly recommend

Our group of 10 loved staying at Villa Caimito! The house and property are absolutely stunning. It’s even prettier than the pictures. Mefi, the host, did a wonderful job helping us coordinate transportation and all of our activities. He made the process so smooth and stress free! We hired a private chef for our first night and the food was delicious. The housekeeping service kept the house looking beautiful our entire stay. We had an incredible time in Quepos and were so sad to leave. We would absolutely love to stay at Villa Caimito again!

I have no words to describe what a wonderful time we spent here. Our group was a total of 18 people, all adults. The house had everything we needed and even more. We hired the chef for dinner and it was the best decision we could have made! we loved every dish, and they even took care of the cleaning after dinner! we really appreciated how easy it was to check in and out, and how responsive the host was. I strongly recommend this place for a large group and the fact that you don't have to worry about anything, they can really take care of everything you need!

We were a group of 10 and Villa Caimito was ideal, with plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy our holiday. The location was great, being in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with lots of wildlife all around. The swimming pool was so welcome to cool off in. Mefi was fantastic at booking trips for all of us and the cleaning staff kept the place so clean for us every day - even doing our laundry which was do appreciated.

This home is in a beautiful setting. The rooftop porch is a great way to view amazing wildlife. We had beautiful birds and squirrel monkeys pay a visit. Mefi our concierge coordinated everything for us so we had no worries. The full time housekeeper kept everything tidy.

What an amazing house. The views were spectacular. Every morning we were greeted by monkey friends. Mefi was super helpful getting us taxis and groceries. The pool was great and plenty of places in the house to have family-style dinners.

Overall great place to stay, the only small downside was location wasn’t where it appeared from my initial (pre booking) Airbnb map view. Pablo was extremely communicative and helpful!

We absolutely loved the house! Mefi was always responsive and the recommended chef made the best food we had during our entire stay at Costa Rica.

My recommendations for future guests are to ask for a more exact address beforehand for driving (it's a bit hard to find) and to use Waze over other navigation apps for finding the house. I would also bring lots of extra cash, since a hefty tip is recommended and ATMs were hard to find.

Truly the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed. We say every possible kind of wildlife you could imagine from the top deck. It is SO much larger than the photos give off. It’s 6 stories! Mefi was absolutely amazing and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things. Will be returning! 🙏🏼

Villa Caimito is great! This was our second time staying at a villa in the Manuel Antonio area, and this house was wonderful. Great shared/common areas for lounging, dining table was large enough to accommodate us, and every room having an ensuite bath is a really nice touch. Cleaning staff were helpful, and Mefi the concierge was SUPER responsive. This is closer to Quepos than some places in MA, but like everywhere in the area it's on a big hill so not exactly walkable. Ubers often did not want to come to us, either, given the gravel road, but Mefi could always easily arrange transport for our large group. You can also order grocery delivery via whats app. Spent a perfect week here for my wife's 40th with a great group of friends, and everything that Mefi arranged - bartender, chef, transportation, restaurants - was A+. Oh, and we spotted monkeys, macaws, and toucans from the house/deck.

I have stayed in Manuel Antonio several times. I really liked the location of Villa Caimito. It was very secluded and private. The roof was a great place to hang out and catch a sunset. The pool was warm and felt amazing. We had scarlet macaws flying over non stop every afternoon starting around 4 p.m. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had THE BEST time here. We had 18 family members from the US, Canada and Australia and it fit our large group perfectly. All 9 bedrooms have an ensuite and the house also gets cleaned top to bottom everyday- what a treat!
Mefi, the concierge was also amazing. He got back to us promptly by text, nothing was a bother and he made the stay stress free for all of us.

We had Jose, the chef cook for us on the first and last night of our trip. The food was phenomenal and very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Mefi can arrange this for you.

The location of the house is close enough that you can walk into Quepos (but cab back).

We spent a lot of time at Playa Macha 15 min walk from the house, it's beautiful. Fishing from the rocks was good too!

The wildlife here is seriously second to none. In the 7 days we were at the house we saw 3 types of monkeys, toucans, macaws & amazing birds & lots of lizards. At night we walked the driveway and saw 4 types of frogs, lizards and a cat snake.

Excellent stay!

Spacious and clean rooms that accommodated all 16 of us comfortably. The common areas (pool, BBQ, terrace, living room…) are cosy and very enjoyable, and the kitchen was properly equipped.

Feedback: it would be nicer if the pool was warmer, especially to use in the evening.

For the rest; we were all extremely happy with the service as everything was top-notch.

This is exactly what we were looking for. There were 12 adults on our trip and this exceeded our expectations. Not only was it beautiful but the attentive and responsiveness of staff was the best I have ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a great vacation, the house was able to accommodate our large extended family. We were able to see wildlife from our decks. The pool was large enough to make a great playground for six teenage boys. The kitchen was sufficient for a chef to prepare great evening meals. The concierge handled all the excursions and transportation details.

Amazing airBnB for a great price!

Came here with 12 guys for 3 nights. Safe to say we had plenty of space. House could easily accommodate plenty more people. Beds are super comfortable and there are more than enough bathrooms. The most spacious airBnB I’ve stayed at.

Great location, very quiet, but not too far of a walk to local restaurants or downtown Quepos. Also a great 30 minute walk to an almost private beach is easily accessible from the house.

The pool area was fantastic we spent so much time hanging out by the beautiful pool and taking in the wildlife that surrounds.

So many balconies with beautiful views of the jungle and ocean. The kitchen space is also fantastic. We cooked breakfast and dinners here because it was such a nice kitchen.

Part of the reservation includes a concierge and maid service. The maids were great and cleaned the house everyday, and even did our laundry. The concierge service is one of the highlights. He helped us book activities, gave recommendations for restaurants, and even had a local fisherman drop off fresh fish for us!

Great stay at Manuel Antonio. The house was recently renovated and looks way better than the photos.

We traveled with a group of 15 from age 14 to 56 and had the most wonderful trip. Everything was just as stated in the listing if not better.

The Jungle vida was GREAT! When it came to planning Dons team did amazing with getting us ready for the trip. MefiBoseth went over and beyond to help me with excursions, chef, shuttle and any more; Making the trip so much better and less stressful. The house was beautiful and big enough for everyone to have their own space. The second day we got a visit form the monkey out by the pool ( you're literally surrounded by the jungle). The house was magnificent, made us feel at home. Would definitely rate them 10 stars if I could. Thank you guys so much again!This is an experience we will never forget!
